Jen has been writing picture books since she was a little girl, finishing her first in fifth grade. Always following her passions, Jen studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and focused on children's illustration and animation. Her passion for creating narrative artwork brings her characters to life and each of her pieces has its own story. Working with texture and an offbeat palate, Jen's stories have a quirky, adorable humour.
With her debut title, Percy and Tum Tum: A Tale of Two Dogs with Running Press, Jen is working on her next picture book concepts. With a clumsy daschund detective story and a button-loving, stealing, and all round crafty fox story, Jen is a major talent looking to sign with a new US trade house. She is interested in illustrating in the UK and is also writing a middle-grade novel featuring a mysterious treehouse.
